The German-made Gunter Von Aue is generally regarded as one of the best "step-up" instruments on today's market. They are made from naturally seasoned European spruce and maple. The body is brought to the US in the "white" where it is graduated, fitted with a proper bass bar, and beautifully hand-finished in an antique style. Each instrument is then setup and carefully adjusted in-house by the luthiers at Robertson's. Tonally the "Von Aue" is deep yet open with a round vowel sound. It is a superb choice and great value for the advancing musician or professional player looking for a great second instrument. Available in 15 1/2" through 16 1/2" (when available), exclusively from Robertson & Sons.
