NOW HIRING - Rental Coordinator
Robertson & Sons Violin Shop is seeking a highly organized, personable, and knowledgeable Rental Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time essential position and often a first point of contact for new clients, students, teachers, and first-time instrument buyers.
The ideal candidate is a string player with teaching experience and a passion for helping aspiring musicians and families navigate the process of selecting and renting quality instruments of the violin family. We are looking for someone who communicates professionally, works collaboratively within a team environment, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric setting.
Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with instrument rentals, exchanges, and returns

Guide first-time buyers and rental clients through the selection process

Build positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and school music programs

Ensure rental instruments are fully prepared for rental with the Instrument Prep team

Answer phones, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally and efficiently

Assist walk-in clients with counter sale transactions including accessories

Represent the shop at pop-up sales events, which will involve travel several times a year
Qualifications

String player required; violinist strongly preferred

Prior teaching experience preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment

Customer service experience preferred

Passion for music education and the string community

Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday
